Carmela DeNicola founded FYI Business Consulting & Outsource Services after 30 years as an executive in the corporate world. During that time, she developed a broad range of experience in several different industries. Having grown up in a family-owned business environment, Carmela has always been an entrepreneur at heart, and she has always had a passion for helping other businesses succeed. During the late 2000s, as the economy began to face unprecedented challenges, she found many of her friends and colleagues coming to her for advice on their careers and businesses they were starting. That’s when she decided to put her extensive corporate expertise to work by starting her own consulting firm.
Carmela formed FYI (For Your Information) for several reasons. Her passion and job satisfaction had always come from mentoring and problem solving, so this was a perfect fit. The name of the business also reflects her commitment to provide a holistic solution based on the specific needs of each client she serves. Rather than trying to “sell” or “advise” a single ‘one size fits all’ program (like so many other firms do), Carmela believes in examining the “big picture”, taking into account all pertinent factors to ensure the right solution is recommended. Because of this philosophy, Carmela expanded her practice by carefully forming a team of seasoned, multi-disciplined professionals who share the same vision; “getting to the right solution, rather than simply selling one”.
Carmela is accomplished in both private and corporate sector business practices. She is a results-oriented business professional with an unrelenting passion for challenging the status quo and a firm believer in continuing education and personal development that moves us beyond the barriers that limit our effectiveness. During her three decades in corporate America, she worked extensively in the leasing and financial services industries. Carmela has held numerous positions in this industry, and brings this unique and holistic perspective to FYI. Because of her in- depth knowledge, she is able to act as the bridge between the technology and business sides of the industry, effectively communicating what the business needs to the technology folks.
Jay, Senior Software Consultant
Jay is a Technology Executive with nearly two decades of experience in the industry. He has in-depth knowledge of the technology industry and several related fields. During his career, Jay has become an expert in a wide range of areas, including but not limited to:

Developing and managing high performing websites and other online applications;
Effectively utilizing enterprise software to streamline important tasks and vastly enhance organizational operations;

Jay enjoys creating new digital apps and websites.
